What is 'No Busy'/'Burst Capacity'?
|

You can configure your phone numbers to use 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' channels. 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' feature allows you to accommodate occasional increase in the incoming calls without paying additional monthly fees. You can select how many incoming call over the limit the number can receive. When a phone number has 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' feature enable and the number used up all dedicated, floating and additional channels the number can still receive addional calls which will be charged per minute.

There are no setup fees and no monthly fees to enable 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' feature for a phone number.

What is per minute rate for 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' channel?

A call over 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' channel will be charged $0.05 per minute.

Does that mean that all calls will be charged a fee when 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' is enabled?

The answer is NO. 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' channel is only used when all other dedicated, floating and additionally purchased channels are already receiving calls.
Only calls received over 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' channel will be charged.

Why I need 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' channel?
|
|
'No Busy/Burst Capacity' channel makes sense to enable if you might receive more incoming calls than available for your subscription plan and dedicated channels limit. Thus a low per minute charge (only when 'No Busy/Burst Capacity' channel is used) can be more cost effective solution.
